The world of Internet has come up with an amazing art….the magic of moving pictures. Being a web designer, one should religiously follow new developments and techniques of web design field. Cinemagraphs, is another wonderful art which is a bit askew from what we have seen in the past. Technically, cinemagraphs are animated gifs pictures and images, which are still photographs that have a, usually, subtle movement occur on an unending loop. These images give you the impression that you are watching a movie, although extremely short and slightly a boring story line. |

The beauty of these “live pictures” is that specific parts of these images are in movement….such as a leg swaying, hair blowing, a flickering candle and so on. This delightful contrast of stillness and movement in the same picture creates interesting cinemagraphs. |

The term “cinemagraph” was created by Kevin Burg and Jamie Beck, photographers who used the technique to in their fashion photography early n 2011. |
