As the name implies, negative space is a technique in artwork that focuses on using the empty spaces around the subject of an image. The concept of negative space is prevalently used in all forms of artwork including photography, logo designing and general art design. The idea revolves around the notion that negative or unused space can be employed to create an appealing or artistically significant shape. In this way, an artist can form two meanings out of a single artwork. The first meaning is in the subject of the image while the other evolves out of the negative space. |

It’s all really the same thing, though. You can use and manipulate negative space in different ways. All I really see is the same thing in 22 different prints.
